Christmas 2026 Trends: How to Decorate Your Home in Tyrolean Style
There’s something about Christmas that makes us want to make our home even cosier. The lights take on a warmer glow, traditional colours make a comeback, and every little detail helps to create that atmosphere we look forward to all year round.
Among the Christmas 2026 trends, the charm of mountain-inspired atmospheres is making its mark: natural materials, nods to tradition and patterns reminiscent of Alpine chalets. But you don’t need to turn every room into a Christmas market to bring this magic into your home!
What if just one detail were enough to change the atmosphere? The Tyrolean style is the ideal choice for those who love Christmas but prefer understated decorations that can remain in the home even after the festivities are over.
And this time, the new trend starts right under your feet!

And the best bit? It’s not the usual Christmas decoration to be put away in January. Joke Tirol is designed for those who want to add character to their home, during the festive season and beyond.
A made-to-measure carpet by the metre for every space
Every home is different, and a rug should be tailored to suit its spaces.
One of the main advantages of this is precisely the ability to choose the length of the rug to suit your needs.
Made with a width of 50 cm, it is available in various lengths, so it can suit both smaller rooms and spaces that require a longer runner.
You don’t have to adapt the room to the rug: it’s the rug that adapts to your home!
A particularly useful solution for anyone looking for a kitchen rug by the metre, a runner for the hallway or a decorative touch to enhance an entrance hall.
Looks great, easy to clean!
Between family lunches, dinners with friends and Christmas recipes, the kitchen becomes a real hive of activity over the festive season. And as we all know, between one task and the next, the odd little mishap is always just round the corner!
Fortunately, Joke Tirol is a stain-resistant and non-slip PVC mat, designed to cope with everyday life without too much hassle.
For a quick clean, all you need is a damp cloth or a mop. And when a more thorough clean is needed? You can even machine-wash it, avoiding the spin cycle to prevent any damage. Thanks to its quick-drying properties, there’s no need to wring it out.
